DEALERS’ ROOM
As with FantasyCon 2011, the Dealers’ Room is located downstairs in the Britannia Room. We realise that this is not ideal (especially if the weather is as hot as it was at the previous event), but it is the biggest area that we have in the hotel that is secure. Once again, we plan to present an Aladdin’s Cave of used books, new titles, magazines and other genre-related material.
Tables are approximately 6 feet x 2 feet and are £35.00 each, with a maximum of three (3) tables per dealer. This price does not include a convention membership, which needs to be additionally paid for at the current rate. A minimum of one convention membership is required, and any additional staff members will also need to have paid a full membership.
As usual, FantasyCon is committed to presenting a mixture of small presses and retail booksellers. To that end, the Dealers’ Room will be juried to ensure a balance of items offered for sale. You will only be asked to pay once your application has been successfully accepted. Once the Dealers’ Room is sold out, we cannot offer any further retail space.

DEALERS’ ROOM SET-UP:
The Britannia room will be available for dealers to set-up from FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, from 11:00 a.m. There is some restricted unloading space outside the Royal Albion Hotel at 35 Old Steine, Brighton, Sussex BN1 1NT. As noted, the Britannia room is on the lower level of the hotel. There is a lift, but please bring trolleys as required. There is no direct loading bay into the room.

Please note that there is a signing table directly outside the Dealers’ Room that can be used by dealers (only) to hold small events during the hours that the room is open. If you would like to reserve this area for a book launch or signing, please contact James Bacon at the e-mail address above. We encourage booksellers and small press publishers to make use of this facility.
DEALERS’ ROOM BREAK-DOWN:
Dealers can break down their tables at any time on the Sunday up until 4:00 p.m., which is when the convention ends. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any material left behind after that time.
FORBIDDEN PLANET WILL ALSO BE IN ATTENDANCE, SITUATED AT THE REAR OF BAR ROGUE - selling NEW stock by Guests of Honour and other attending professionals.
