Once again, FantasyCon 2012 returns to the Royal Albion Hotel – right on the Brighton seafront, almost directly opposite the world-famous Brighton Pier. Those of you who attended FantasyCon 2011 and World Horror Convention 2010 will already be familiar with this historic and quirky venue, which has proved very popular with convention-goers. The Royal Albion is also ideally located for Brighton’s numerous bars and restaurants, as well as the local shopping area, The Lanes, situated just a few minutes’ walk away.
We are delighted to announce that we have been able to hold the room rate at the Royal Albion to £79 per night for a single or double room, over the period of the Convention (September 27 – 30, 2012). A limited number of family rooms are also available, at a cost of £119 per night. All room rates include VAT and a fully cooked, buffet-style English breakfast.
FantasyCon has negotiated a late check-out time of 4:00 p.m. for Sunday, September 30.PLEASE NOTE THE CUT-OFF DATE FOR ROOM BOOKINGS IS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2012. AFTER THIS DATE THE HOTEL WILL NOT GUARANTEE A ROOM OR THE CONVENTION RATE.

QUEENS HOTEL BRIGHTON
For those who want a little more luxury during their stay, we are also holding a limited number of rooms at the stylish Queens Hotel Brighton, just a couple of minutes’ walk along the seafront from the Royal Albion.
The rates for the Queens Hotel are as follows:
Wednesday September 26: @ £120 (double occupancy) / @ £115 (single occupancy)
Thursday September 27: @ £70 (double occupancy) / @ £65 (single occupancy)
Friday September 28: @ £110 (double occupancy) / @ £105 (single occupancy)
Saturday September 29: @ £160 (double occupancy) / @ £155 (single occupancy)
Sunday September 30: @ £65 (double occupancy) / @ £60 (single occupancy)
Prices include VAT, full English Breakfast and free entry to the hotel’s Leisure Club, which includes a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. The hotel also has a No.1 Bar & Bistro, with stunning views over the seafront.

There is a sea-facing supplement of £15.00 per room, per night. Family room prices can be quoted based on requirements and availability.
